Guided mindfulness practices & discussion around community practice
with Jeremy Finkelstein RP
Having time dedicated to personal practice is important for those who work within the field of mindfulness. Sustaining our own formal practice for personal wellbeing, and using the practice to inform our teaching can be the key to offering the gift of awareness.
It’s common to let our personal practice fall to the wayside. We may struggle to take time for ourselves to sit, or STOP when communicating with those close to us, or to guide our students from our personal practice.
Practicing as a community of professionals gives us the chance to support our own practices, as well as those of our fellow community members. We can also develop personal, group and community connections through shared experiences within the practice and our daily lives. We’re starting the new year by inviting you to practice as a community, and to be part of an open dialogue about practicing with others.
In this session, Jeremy Finkelstein RP and Mindfulness Toronto Steering Committee Member will offer guided practices, and lead a discussion on how practicing as a group benefits the professional community.
