Jasmine Tandan, MEd

Jasmine Tandan is a community and education professional with a background in developmental psychology, education, and contemplative practice. Her work spans program development, facilitation, research, and evaluation across educational and community-based settings. She holds a Master of Education in Developmental Psychology and Education from the University of Toronto and brings several years of experience facilitating yoga and mindfulness programs for children, alongside leading and supporting research initiatives focused on child development and social-emotional well-being.

Her work is grounded in values of compassion, relational awareness, and systems-level thinking, with an emphasis on evidence-informed approaches. She is particularly interested in mindfulness, emotional awareness, youth well-being, and the role of social and educational systems in shaping individual and collective flourishing.

Committed to service, collaboration and connection, Jasmine serves as Director of Community Engagement at Mindfulness Toronto. In this role, she strengthens engagement across the professional network, fostering relationships that support a vibrant professional community.
